Hello,

 

how many SIP accounts can I run with a SoundStation IP 7000? Before upgrading the 3.x firmware to 4.0.6, it was possible to have two lines I think, but now, I can add two servers, but just one line in the web UI.

 

Am I doing wrong something?

Hello Jakob,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

To my knowledge all our SIP based SoundStation IP phones only support one line.

 

You can make or receive multiple calls per line.

and thanks a lot for your reply! Reason I am a bit confused is that with the 3.x SIP firmware it definitely showed me two "lines" in the web GUI. Before moving to productive mode, I upgraded my device and am now on 4.0.6 UCS, and see only one line, so I am not sure if I missed something...

Hello Jakob,

The SoundStation phones have no way to select any lines so that may be a bug in an older Software Version.

 

I suggest for the time being downgrade to UCS 4.0.4 as the SSIP7000 has some issues with UCS 4.0.5 and 4.0.6

Thanks a lot Steffen, that helps indeed! Then I'll try to get the line selection mechanism available via a local SIP server. 🙂
