Hi Support,
I am currently to set up a call center where I have total of 4 agents and only 2 Polycom IP 650 phones. Each of this agents has their own DID numbers. My question is, can all these 4 agents log in and out with their own respective DID numbers on any of the two units of available Polycom phone? Please advise
Thanks

Hello KS,
Again a reminder if you could you be so kind and ensure that you follow up your prior post's in addition before posting new queries ?
The example link I provided enables a phone to have one line (3000) whilst no new user is logged on. This line could be a extension on the SIP server that only has access to internal extensions and emergency numbers.
A userprofile as shown with Extension 3100 can include as many lines as you want in that configuration. Once the User 3100 logs on the phone will load the configurations and applies this to the phone.
Please work with your Polycom reseller and/or Polycom support if the provided FAQ post is still unclear to yourselves.
Best Regards
Steffen Baier

Hello KS,
welcome back to the Polycom Community.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Oct 20, 2011 Question: How can I use the User Login Feature introduced in UC Software 4.0.0?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
Above may not be suitable for a call centre scenario depending how the phone is provisioned or what call platform you are using but this would be something you would need to discuss with whoever provides your SIP server solution.
Please be aware in addition as in another post you mentioned that you are using UCS 4.1.0. This release is for LYNC only and SIP has not been tested and is not officially supported.
The latest SIP supported software is at present UCS 4.0.4
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hi Steffen,
I had went through the solutions provided and it seems currently I am having the rror message "User Login Failed". My question is, do I have to first provision the second phone number and its registration pasword as line 2 in the phone GUI to make this happen?
Thanks

Hello KS,
I am not aware of any limitations other than the amount of files that you can have in a directory.
