Hello,

I want to use the message waiting light not for the phone but fore the messages of the company voicemail messages. The phone is connected to broadsoft. software 5.6.0

Who knows how to configurate this option.

I am not sure I fully understand your issue but the MWI light is for the mailbox.

The phone has number 201 en i want to use the light for the mailbox of number 999.

When there is a new message in mailbox 999 the MWI on phone 201 will light on.

Number 201 has no mailbox

This artikel changed only the number that the phone calls when you press the mailbox button.

It wil not change the responding of the MWI light when there is a message in mailbox for example 999.

Have you tested to change the Subscription address to what you would like your phone to Subscribe aka 999 ?

I test that already but that didn't work.

I send a screenshot for example. 

I make a test environment with 2 phone numbers 402 and 403.

I wil that the MWI of 402 will light up when there is a message for 403.

I was using Extension 3088 as VM and my phone has 3035

 

So maybe your unknown SIP server does not understand this method so I suggest you check with whoever provides this.
