We are trying to use the parameter: se.rt.modification.enabled to force the desired ringtone from being able to be updated on VVX phones running 5.6.0.  I am not sure if this applies to the registered line or default ring, or just the RingClass.  Testing seems to show that this does not affect interaction on the local phone GUI.

Hello @J03 ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

Both the communities Must Read First or Read 1st and if available the FAQ reference the basic minimum information a new or follow up post should contain.

This ensures the questions having to be asked are limited and any new or follow up post contains the right amount of details to ensure any voluntary participant within the community does not spend additional time chasing basic information.

Unfortunately, your post fell a bit short of the above-explained requirements and we kindly ask you, therefore, to ensure to read these sections and ensure a reply (not Edit!) provides as much detail as possible

Please ensure you familiarise yourself with the FAQs listed in my signature for your convenience.

For example, the software version mentioned by yourself is no longer supported. Please try this using UC Software 5.9.7 or 6.4.2 and then provide sufficient details.

Alternatively, contact our official support organization.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier

Phone application: 5.6.0.20009 (as pushed out by RingCentral currently)

VVX410 - 0004f2cf43bb (test phone)

Attached to this reply is the base configuration in place from RingCentral, and the "addendum" configuration that we are wanting to supplement StoreCounter phones with.  The last line of the latter file: se.rt.modification.enabled="0" is the only piece that is not seemingly testing successfully.  From the admin guide:

"Determines whether or not users are allowed to modify the pre-defined ringtone from the phone’s user interface."

Reading that entry, I was under the assumption this was designed to block changes to ringtones using the screen and buttons on the physical phone.  Research online and in the KB here has not turned up any further data I could find, and I wanted to see if we can confirm if this parameter is designed to block users from changing the ringtone assigned via uploaded configuration files.

Current assumption is that I need further parameters to accompany this one line, but have not found the documentation to support or elucidate this.
