Hello,

We are testing VVX400 and VVX 600 models.

We upgraded to the newest UC software 5.0.1.4068 on the phones and using BToE 1.1 .

The great thing is that your Lync 2013 favorites are shown on the homescreen of the VVX phone.

Today we discovered a weird issue with it.

I have 10 contacts in my Lync favorites and two of those contacts are:

David De Boeck  -  sip: david@domain.com

David Van Praet - sip: davidvp@domain.com

On the phone both contacts are displayed as "David Van Praet".

So i have two entries on the phone with the same name. If i call the first name then i really call David De Boeck and not David Van Praet. So the displayname is not correct.

The Lync client show the correct displayname.

If i reboot the VVX phone then both displaynames shows up correctly, but after 15minutes or something the first name changes back to David Van Praet were it should be David De Boeck.

When i remove David Van Praet out of my favorites then David De Boeck is shown correctly.

Is this a bug ?

Thank you,

Robin

Hello Matheus,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The Favorites appear at the same instant.

Please be aware of the following when utilizing UCS 4.1.0 or later:

The use of Polycom UC Software versions 4.1.X (“Software”) requires the purchase of a separate Software license for every device that will use the Software in a Lync environment. You may not install, access, or use the Software in a Lync environment on more devices than are listed on your license until additional licenses have been purchased and authorized by Polycom. These licenses should be purchased from the same company from which you purchased the devices. You may operate devices against a Lync server for trial purposes for up to 30 days without purchasing a license. Use of the Software is subject to the terms and conditions of the End User License Agreement.

Polycom reserves the right to audit your deployment to verify that you have sufficient licenses to match the number of devices being used.

Information in regards of License Part Numbers can be found => here <=

Hello all,

I actually managed to replicate this using UCS 5.0.1.4068 and it seems to be caused by status changes.

I have escalated this internally as a Customer reported this and will update this topic once a fix has been added to a next release.

Best Regards
