Using Polycom VVX450.

When I register a line, the line works but a little red X icon shows up next to it.

When I check the line it says:

Line (line name) (Not Registered)

Server (xxx.xxx.xxx.net) (Not Registered)

What am I doing wrong? Is there something I need to add to the config file?

Here is the registration config:

reg.2.address="test2@xxx.xxx.xxx.net" reg.2.displayName="line x2"reg.2.outboundProxy.address="xxx.xxx.xxx.net" reg.2.outboundProxy.port="5090" reg.2.outboundProxy.transport="UDPOnly"

Hello @40love ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

  • It would be great to check if this is using the UC Software or ObiEdition?(check the FAQ for instructions)
  • Also what software version?(check the FAQ for instructions)
  • Programmed via the Web Interface or are you importing some sort of configuration?
  • Can you share a backup? (check the FAQ for instructions)

Usually, I recommend:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: Can I register or is my Polycom Phone compatible with a “XYZ” SIP Server?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

or

Jan 19, 2012 Question: How to troubleshoot Polycom VoIP related Issues?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

or

Oct 11, 2011 Question: How can I troubleshoot configuration Issues via Log Files or the phone GUI?

Resolution: Please check => here <=
