All;

    I've created 9 softkeys on a 670 and the first 8 look good. However, for the 9th soft key, the key is displayed and it works the way it should, but the label is blank. I'm not sure why this is happening. Any insight at all would be appreciated.

Thanks;

FSD

Hello FSD,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used SIP or UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Read First"

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

In addition I already replied to one of your other posts with the following:

It helps all users of the community if old post's that you opened before at least receive an answer or mark them as solution provided.

Please have a look at all your "old" post's => here <= before posting new questions.

Also it would help if you provide an example of your EFK.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hello;

    I am running UC software version 4.0.7.2514. The EFK simply dials feature code *16 and looks like this:

                softkey.9.label="Office"
                softkey.9.action="*16"
                softkey.9.enable="1"
                softkey.9.precede="0"
                softkey.9.use.idle="1"
                softkey.9.use.dialtone="0"
                softkey.9.use.active="0"
                softkey.9.use.alerting="0"
                softkey.9.use.hold="0"
                softkey.9.use.proceeding="0"
                softkey.9.use.setup="0"

I hope this helps.

Hello FSD,

UC Software 4.0.7 is no longer a supported version so please use 4.0.11 or at least 4.0.10

Could you do this as it is not helpful to others and may limit replies you receive in the future.

Thanks for your help. I found the problem to be a syntax error in the config file.
