I have recently updated some Polycom soundpoint IP 650 phones from rev 3.3.1  to 4.1.1, to fix a call park problem. The call park was fixed, but then the caller id would not work appropriately. Sometimes it displays the name and number and sometimes just the number. Any help or clarification on what is going on would be greatly appreciated.

Resolution: Please always check the release Notes or

Software Version  Call Server
4.0.X SIP Only
4.1.X LYNC Only

 

Please install the correct software on the phone if you are using SIP.

 

If you are using LYNC you may want to explain in more detail what actually has changed.
