Hello.

I am trying to add active directory contacts to the phone browser on a VVX-500 phone.

About the phone:

SIP Version: 4.0.3.9381

Updater: 5.0.3.3561

VVX-500

I am unable to view the phone with the web configuration utilty.  I am also unclear of where to find the configuration files our phone provider is telling me to edit.  The log has 5 configuration files that I cannot find on the provisioning server.

Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Hello JCebula,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The community's VoIP => FAQ <= contains this post here:

Jan 30, 2012 Question: Can I use a central Phone book or is LDAP / Corporate Directory supported?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

The above linked FAQ has also got plenty of other posts in regards of troubleshooting. The community search in addition can be utilized to search for LDAP related post's.

Most likely your Provider has disabled the Web Interface or simply changed the password or port.

Please liaise with them for further troubleshooting.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
