Import speed dials to IP 7000

Hello all,

is it possible to import speed dials to Soundstations IP 7000 running on 4.0.8.1972 via xml files as it works for the Trio 8800?
If so, is it the same process or different?

Best Regards

Stefan

Re: Import speed dials to IP 7000

Hi @Wenharts,

have a look at the FAQ:

Dec 19, 2017 Question: How can I import Speed Dials or Numbers via the Web Interface?

Resolution: This is not supported. Only the Poly Trio can import speed dials via a USB stick in this format => here <= as shown => here <=

Hello @Wenharts ,

Welcome back to the Poly Community.

As already outlined by @mshu  you cannot import this directly via an XML file via the Web Interface but have a look at this:

Jan 6, 2012 Question: How can I create a local contact directory / phonebook or what is the 000000000000-directory.xml used for?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Either generate a file and load from the provisioning server or manually add them via the Web Interface as described in the above. Only the SoundStation/SoundPoint Phones can do this.

Re: Import speed dials to IP 7000

Hi Steffen,

thanks for reaching out although your answer is a bit confusing to me.

You outline that no imports can be done via XML to Soundstation IP 700 and still send the guide for the directory.xml?

By reading this I suppose it is not possible, correct?

Best Regards

Stefan
