Hi,

I'm sure it's something I've overlooked, but we recently added two new IP550's to our existing setup of five existing IP550's, however these two new phones refuse to communicate at 100Mb - if set to auto on the PC/Lan ports, it will set itself to 10Mb Full duplex... even if the settings are forced on the phone to 100Mb FD, it opts to 10!

The configuration/setup has been carried out in exactly the same way as all the other existing handsets.

Main application is SIP 2.1.1.0062... phones are Rev Y ... I'm guessing that the firmware needs updating (or at least hoping it's something like that)

Help!

Hello Drhodes,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I assume you have tested these phone on a working switchport that does not cause this issue for another phone?

To say that the Firmware needs updating is a slight understatement.

I suggest you bring these phones to a currently supported level and test again.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Thanks Steffen... I'll get the firmware updated and see if that helps at all.

Will update once done.
