IP335 receiving calls from non-existant x100 and x1001

I have a home-user with an IP335.  He says he's receiving calls from x100 and x1001.  I have checked my Cudatel, and don't see anything logged out of the norm for this extension and we don't have x100 nor x1001 in our system.  They're all 5 digit numbers.  Is it possible that his phone is being accessed from the Internet?

Hello SparkyDV,

Oct 24 2014 Question:How can I prevent tools like sipvicious or nuisance Cisco calls ringing my phone?

Resolution: Please check => here <= or Security Center: Security Bulletin Relating to Worldwide Botnet Dialing H.323-Capable Systems

As your phone is connected to the internet anyone can send your phone an SIP INVITE. Please check the above FAQ post.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
