Hello,

 

I am having an issue with my IP 7000's and not see an external mic using a long C-Link cable (Part # 2457-29051-001) 50ft C-Link. 

 

I can not find anything that shows a max distance in regards to the cable lenght and using and IP 7000 and it's external Mic.

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Polycom offers the following:

 

2457-29051-001

CLink 2 cable, HDX microphone array cable. Walta to Walta. 50 ft. Connects HDX microphone to HDX microphone/SoundStation IP7000 or HDX microphone to HDX System.HDX 9000 CLink input requires Walta to RJ-45 adapter.

 

As you can see above is the same as you are using and should be working.

 

You should ensure that the connector is plugged in the right way as using force you can plug it in the incorrect way and damage the connector.

 

If that has been verified and it is still not working please contact your Polycom reseller and/or Polycom support directly.
