you will most likely need to switch your phone to opensip.

1)  On the idle screen Press and hold the 1, 4, and 9 buttons simultaneously

2)  Once prompted, enter the Admin password (Default is 456)

3)  Select Generic on your screen to switch to Open Standards SIP

Once complete I would recommend a Factory Reset then you will need to provision the phone you can use the following FAQ as a guide.

Question: How can I setup my Phone / Provisioning / Download / Upgrade / Update / Downgrade Software?
Resolution: Please check => here <=

Question: Do I always need a Provisioning Server or can I configure a Phone via the Web Interface or via the Phone Gui?
Resolution: Please check => here <=

Question:Why can I not change every single configuration parameter via the Phone UI or the Web Interface?

Resolution: Only the most common settings can be changed via the Phone UI or the Web Interface. Additional configuration parameters either require a provisioning server as shown => here <= or simply import a configuration file (or unzip FAQ attached example files) and import these via the Web Interface as shown => here <=

The easiest way to setup a phone is using a provisioning server. In your configuration file you will need to set the following at minimum to get it registered to the SBC.

<reg1 reg.1.address="myphone"     ;This is the Lineport or user ID

reg.1.auth.userId="myphoneauthid"    ;This is only used if you need an auth id

reg.1.auth.password="gfdrte324$#@"  ;This is the Auth password

reg.1.label="3405"     ;This is what is shown on the phones display,

reg.1.type="private"    ; can ber changed to shared if line is shared

reg.1.server.1.address="10.10.10.2"      ;This is the IP or domain for the SBC

reg.1.server.1.port="5060"  ; set to the port that is used for SIP 5060 is default.

reg.1.server.1.transport="TCPpreferred"/>  ;this can be set to UDPOnly or TCPpreferred see the admin guide for the other settings.

The above settings are the minimum needed and you should consult the admin guide for your firmware version for the other settings.
