I was told by someone that I need to have multiple appearances of the SIP line on the polycom. Is this true?

My problem is that I cannot complete a 3 way conference. The polycom joins the calls together but one party can not be heard on the polycom.

Any help would be great.

Thanks.

Hello Ironhedz,

would you be able to follow up on your other post => here <= for the benefit of other community members?

The SoundStation IP conference phones all only support 1 line.

I am trying to complete a three way conference and one party cannot speak into the polycom (no audio). I ran a wireshark, I do not see a join or anything. Is there anything else I can look for? I am not sure how to post the wireshark results here.

Hello Ironhedz,

The troubleshooting section 3 in above linked FAQ post demonstrates a conference and also mentions a Parameter that may be used if required by your SIP pabx.

I suggest you work with your SIP provider if above does not help you further and then raise a Polycom support ticket via your Polycom reseller.
