General vs Limited UC Software Release

Hello everyone,

Just a simple question that I've got while reading some of the recent release notes.

I think it is safe to say that general releases are cumulative (at least in its functionalities).

If so, would that also include limited releases in the past?

For instance, UCS 4.0.2 is a limited release to select customers. Would all enhancements and bug fixes in this release be included in later versions of general release?

Best regards,

Re: General vs Limited UC Software Release

Hello Wonbin,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Sometimes limited releases only target customer specific issues and enhancements and are therefore not part of general follow up releases.

These are usually distributed directly to these customers and are not publicly available.

Normal bug fixes are added to current and future releases.
