Hello

First-time poster here.  I am hoping to find an answer to programing a softkey for a forward/forward all. We just got this system about a month ago and still are working out minor issues this being one of them.

I looked through all the support documents I could find and they only managed to confuse me more.

My setup:

We have software 6.3.0.14929

Phone model: VVX 250's and 350's (I am currently only focusing on the 250 as it is what I have)

The Call Platform is RingCentral

If needed I will provide a backup of the phone

I do not have a log yet but I don't think it is needed. at this point, there is no error with the system/phone in question.

MAC/Serial 482567007B2A

This is not really a problem with the phone its a problem with the user not knowing how to do what needs to be done to make said phone behave in a way that I want. 🙂

My direct question is can I get an example macro for the softkey to forward all calls that when pressed again will turn off the forward all?

I do know that *72/*73 is disabled I'm guessing by RingCentral.  As when I tried to use them I get a fast busy.

If I missed some info that is needed or something that I need to elaborate on please let me know.

Thank you for your time and attention to this request.

Hello @Darkrinn ,

Welcome to the Poly Community. From my understanding, our software does not support this. Most likely Ring Central would need to answer this.

From our FAQ:

Jun 07, 2012 Question: How can I add a server based DND / Do not disturb and / or Call Forward?
Resolution: Please check => here <=

Nov 25, 2011 Question: How can I change the functionality of a softkey button/use EFK?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

The above is what we support so I would check with Ring Central on this.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Thank you Steffen for your assistance.  it makes complete sense that it would be on Ring's end, unfortunately, they aren't going to give me access to their servers to push the software/soft keys so unless they change something on their site that lets you change the soft keys we are kind of stuck with the presets. At any rate that answers the question.
