It is always useful to include the currently used software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.
This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

In addition it is also useful to state if you are using a SIP switch or LYNC.
- If LYNC simply use your LYNC client to add users to your phone by setting them as a Favorite
- If sip just follow the examples provided on the Polycom VVX Business Media Phones User Guide - UCS 5.2.0 page 101 => here <=
Your SIP PABX must support the buddy watch functionality.
