[FAQ] Can I customize the Home Screen Icons ?

UC Software 5.3.0 or later

 

homeScreen.application.enable="1"

Turn on or off display of the Applications icon on the phone’s Home screen

 

homeScreen.doNotDisturb.enable="1"

Enable or disable display of the DND icon on the phone’s Home screen

 

homeScreen.forward.enable="1"

 

Turn on or off display of the call forward icon on the phone’s Home screen.

 

PLEASE NOTE:

 

Feb 01, 2016 Question:Why am I unable to disable the call forwarding softkey on a Polycom VVX Business media Phone since upgrading to UC Software 5.4.0 or later?

Resolution:When using a Polycom VVX Business media Phone running UC Software 5.4.0 or later in LYNC Base profile the Skype for Business / LYNC Voice Routing => Voice Policy takes precedence over the softkey.feature.forward=”0” parameter. Either creating a new Voice Policy for these phones or removing the “Enable call forwarding” and/or “Enable simultaneous ringing of phones” will disable the key.

Enables or disables the display of the Directories menu icon on the Home screen.

Enables or disables the display of the Features menu icon on the Home screen.

Enables or disables the display of the Messages menu icon on the Home screen.

 

homeScreen.newCall.enable="1"

 

Enables or disables the display of the New Call icon on the Home screen.

 

homeScreen.redial.enable="1"

 

Enables or disables the display of the Redial icon on the Home screen.

 

homeScreen.settings.enable="1"

 

Enables or disables the display of the Settings menu icon on the Home screen.

 

homescreen.intercom.enable="1"

 

Enable or disable the Intercom icon on the device home screen

 

 

homeScreen.UCOne.enable="1"

 

Enable or disable the UC-One Settings icon to display on the Home screen

 

homeScreen.features.enable="1"

 

Enable or disable display of the Features menu icon on the phone Home screen (VVX1500 only)

 

homescreen.status.enable="1"

 

Enable or disable the display of the Status menu icon on the Home screen (VVX1500 only)

 

Any of the above parameters can be disabled via ="0"

 

In addition UC Software 5.5.0 or later

Enable or disable the display of the New Call menu icon on the Home screen

Enable or disable the display of the Redial menu icon on the Home screen
