Edge E prefer speakerphone when USB headset is attached

Hello

I have a new Edge E 550 device and I am noticing when a USB headset is attached, pressing any buttons like a line key or a BLF key or a Speed Dial key launches the audio into the USB headset and not speakerphone.

I do NOT have the Headset Preference mode turned on.

Is there a parameter to define to use speakerphone by default for all calls, unless the headset key is pressed?

Thanks

Hello @MarkHagler ,

Welcome back to the Poly Community. I ran this by a colleague and this seems to be working as designed.

A change request via a Poly Partner or Poly SE would be required with a business case explaining all details.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hello @MarkHagler

I can see you raised 34368753, which seems to differ from a VVX.

We get this looked at in the region. I tried to reproduce this with an Alpha Edge HW and did not have a USB A to C adapter so I did not trust my own replication.

Best regards

I would like to know if there is any movement in this issue. This is a problem for USB headset users, and this series. Please advise.

Thank you.
