Thank you in advance for any help-

I understand that you can creat EFK / Softkeys to open up the "mini browser"

for example softkey.5.action="http://yahoo.com"

I was wondering if ther was a way to have it "open" and "close/quit" right away - I am looking for a way to invoke/trigger an API call via the phone so I dont actually need the page to open... I dont mind if it opens for a few seconds but I dont want to ave to press "more" and then quit....

Thank you in advance!!

Hello SamF,

I checked this internally via VESC-6145 and have been informed that this is working as designed.

Once the EFK functionality opens the Microbrowser is running in the foreground and the EFK is no longer actioning.

This has been classed as working as designed and a feature request would be required to change this as explained here:

Jan 03, 2013 Question: How can I request a change to the current Polycom SIP / UCS Software?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Maybe if you describe the use case in a bit more detail we may be able to suggest something else?

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
