I am trying to figure out how to change the name displayed during an internal call. We just switched from TDS Metrocom, and when I called a coworker, it showed my name as the caller on their phone. Now that we have switched to a Zulty's PBX, it is showing my extension number...

I have tried to add 'feature.sendrpid="yes"' to the XML config, but I'm not entirely sure I;m doing it right, as I am not very familiar with XML configuration.

Can anyone help me to get the correct configuration so names are displayed when a call comes in?

Thanks in advance!!

Tony

Hello Tony,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The phone displays the information it receives in its SIP invite. If your SIP server does not send this then the phone cannot display it.

Please work with your SIP provider as your prior provider seemed to support this.
