Hello,
I have polycom vvx 400/401 that I can not configure the behavior of the LEDs for the expansion module
-Green Fixed when the contact that is supervised and available
-Green flashing when are station sounds
-Red when online
Please someone can explain to me what LED patterns for expansion module should I put

welcome to the Polycom Community.

As an example the UC Admin Guide 5.5.0 explains on page 113 Set Patterns for LED Indicators. I do not have any examples and the patterns are both for the phone and the expansions module.

Yes I already saw the guide but I do not know how the hierarchy of the implementation for the LEDs on the post and on the expansion module
Is what I need to add to the configuration file one line for each button ?

Hello Sina,

Again I do not believe you can assign a different pattern to individual keys but the Page 115 holds information on how to "Change the Color of Line Key Indicators for Incoming Calls"

 

If these examples are not sufficient and a Community search or a Web Search does not deliver enough examples the next step would be to contact your Polycom reseller so they can open a ticket with Polycom support.

I explain my need
I have an expansion modules that I plugged in with my vvx 400
From expansion module I supervise other phone of my company, I want to change the state of the LEDs for:
Person available: green
Phone ringing: green flashing
Person in communication: red

Hello Sina,

This is a standard feature when using Busy Lamp Fields.

 

This is all described in the FAQ but must be supported by your SIP switch.

 

There is another feature called buddy watch which has limited features.

I found the solution when the phone rings and the when the person is in communication
But I have not succeeded found for the fixed green when the person is available 

 

ind.pattern.x.step.y.state  what's this "X" for available personne
