I have VVX 450 phones and am trying to configure something that seems like it should be simple yet not working out for me. I hope im not reposting something already covered but have searched and cannot find anything that is specific to what im trying to accomplish.

I need to program 2 line key buttons to perform functions.

I need 1 to dial a prefix of "007" but not send that as a call. so then the next button press can be a BLF of an extension when then completes what needs to be dialed.

The only button types i can find are 'normal' or 'automatic' ive tried both ways and neither works for me. It always does "007..Send!" where i need "007..(wait for further input)"

I also need to program a second button with *79 which i believe im having the same issue. Programming a button with this star key drops the active call. If i dial the code manually during a live call, the function works properly.

here is what ive tried that is not working and have tried both of these also as type normal:

attendant.resourceList.3.value="007"
attendant.resourceList.3.label="Pick up"
attendant.resourceList.3.type="automata"
attendant.resourceList.4.address="*79"
attendant.resourceList.4.label="Talk"
attendant.resourceList.4.type="automata"

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello @btv185 ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

Both the communities Must Read First or Read 1st and if available the FAQ reference the basic minimum information a new or follow up post should contain.

This ensures the questions having to be asked are limited and any new or follow up post contains the right amount of details to ensure any voluntary participant within the community does not spend additional time chasing basic information.

Unfortunately, your post fell a bit short of the above-explained requirements and we kindly ask you, therefore, to ensure to read these sections and ensure a reply (not Edit!) provides as much detail as possible

Please ensure you familiarise yourself with the FAQ’s listed in my signature for your convenience.

To answer your original question this is not what BLF is for.

I suggest you look at:

Nov 25, 2011 Question: How can I change the functionality of a softkey button/use EFK?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

or

Oct 7, 2011 Question: Phone unable to Dial a number when Off Hook or on 2nd Call in a Conference or Digitmap issues

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
