Change contrast on VVX models

Hi all

A quick question in regards to changing the contrast on the VVX models running 5.2.0

I have looked in the admin guide and also exported config however cannot find anything that mentions it.... is this do-able?

Cheers

Dave

Re: Change contrast on VVX models

Hi Dave,

Try this from the phone:

  1. Press the Home button
  2. Press down, then select Settings
  3. Select Basic...
  4. Select Contrast
  5. Adjust between 0-32

Also from the Basic section

  1. Select Backlight Intensity
  2. Select Backlight On Intensity
  3. Choose High, Medium, Low, or Off

You can do the same for Idle Intensity as well.  I hope that helps!

Re: Change contrast on VVX models

Hello Dave,

the only VVX phone that has a contrast is the VVX 300 and the VVX 310.

All the others do not have this setting.

Re: Change contrast on VVX models

Hello Dave,

I am not aware that these parameters can be changed via a configuration file.

The easiest way to usually find out is to make a change of a Parameter via the GUI and then export the configuration.

Re: Change contrast on VVX models

Thanks for the clarification on this - I have tried looking at the export config and couldn't see anywhere in the config files any reference of contrast.... I will look at doing this via push instead...

Thanks again for the reply guys

Cheers

Dave
