We are using the soundstation duo to bridge videoconferencing with a Google Hangout with a dedicated VoIP Inbound SIP trunk.  It works as a solution, but to make it a simple, reliable solution that doesn't need tech involvement to get working when powered on, we need the Soundstation to automatically conference the hangout (which is online when powered on) to the VoIP extension.

Is there a way to do this automatically when the phone powers on, perhaps through scripting?

Hello timthomas,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

There is no such feature that would do this once the phone is online / booted up.

The community's VoIP => FAQ <= contains this post here:

Jan 22, 2014 Question: [FAQ] How can I get the phone to automatically dial a number when the handset is lifted?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Above may be something you want to look into.
