We are using asterisk 1.4.43 with a variety of Soundpoint phones using SIP 3.2.7 and (for experimental purposes) SIP 4.0.2 and both cause the PBX to issue a "603 Declined" during attended call transfer. (As an FYI a grandstream phone on the same PBX does not suffer from this problem) The call is actually transferred but there is no ringback to the caller which often results in their hanging up as they believe that call has been dropped. Any ideas how this can be fixed?

Thanks - J

Hello jeffr,

this would require a Wireshark trace to look at the signaling which is outside the scope of the community for myself.

Usually no ringback is caused by the PABX sending a 183 which would mean the PABX provides the ringtones.

If no other member replies please raise a ticket via your Polycom reseller.

Best Regards
