Hi,

We are using CX600 phones with Lync/Outlook 2010. All is working well, but we would like to change the search method on the phones. When you start typing a person's name on the phone, it only shows results based on the first name, and not on all fields (let's say "wildcard search")

Example:

Contact name is: John Smith.

When I type "5646" (JOHN) is shows John Smith as result, which is nice.

However, if I type "76484" (SMITH), is doesn't show any results!

Even worse:

Contact name is Mr. John Smith (where Mr. is the contact's Title in Outlook)

When I type "5646" (JOHN) is shows no results! I have to type "75" (MR) in order to show Mr. John Smith.

We want to be able to search all fields.

Please, can you tell us how to change the search method on the CX600.

Thank you.

Hello MpDay,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The Software on the CX Range of phones is provided by our Partner Microsoft. I would suggest to attempt and try to get an answer to these kind of questions in a Microsoft LYNC orientated community.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
