Hi,

I have a client who has CX100 Speaker Phone and when he connects it to the computer Windows XP SP3 cannot seem to recognize the device. It just shows as an unknown device in the device list.

User has MS Lync 2010 4.0.7577.4356 32-bit and as far as I know the drivers for the speaker phone should come with Lync?

What could cause the device not to be recognized? User has tried different usb-ports and all other Polycom Speaker phones have always worked plug and play. Faulty device?

Hello Jukos,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Has this unit been tested in another PC or has a working unit been test in this PC?

If yes to the above please liaise with your Polycom reseller for an RMA.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hi Steffen,

thanks for the quick reply.

The device has been tried in a few other workstations both Win XP and Win 7. In all of the cases when the device is connected it tries to search for the drivers but is unable to find any.

I will suggest the user to contact the reseller.

Thank you.
