I have a VVX601 with LCD Expansion Module running off a 3CX locally hosted PBX.

I have 6 contacts programmed in via the 3CX admin page which appear on the phone display but would like these to appear on the Expansion Module and only the registered sip extension to show on the phone. Everything I've googled suggests that the BLF are allocated sequentially and cannot allocate a contact to wherever I would like them to appear.

Is there a workaround with this?

Hello @Telecomuser ,

Welcome back to the Poly Community.

The post is lacking the minimal required information as outlined in the ReadMeFirst and the FAQ.

Please ensure in the future to familiarize yourself with this prior to posting a new post.

From our FAQ:

Jan 12, 2012 Question: Can I change / re-assign the appearance of  Line, BLF, Speed Dial and Presence Keys?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

A community search also finds >this< simple solution.

Hi Steffen,

I’m using software version 6.4.0.11527 on a Polycom VVX601 running on the 3CX PBX platform version 16.09

I’ve tried using :-

<line up.regOnPhone="1"/>

 Which makes no difference unfortunately, the only thing I’ve found that can work is creating “dummy” entries using :-

<test
feature.enhancedFeatureKeys.enabled="1"
feature.EFKLineKey.enabled="1"
efk.efklist.1.action.string="1"
efk.efklist.1.mname="."
efk.efklist.1.status="1"

/>

This moves the BLF entries down by one, by adding more efk entries I can have the BLF entries moved down onto the LCD module with the caveat that I have 7 entries with pin symbol on the phone display. This will do as a workaround although would prefer not to have to use that method

Hi Steffen,

I did look at the FAQ post, I thought the up.reg.OnPhone would have done the job so didn’t go down the lineKey.reassignment.enabled route.

I’m going to try that as my next option tomorrow.

On a side note the link to the 4.01 admin guide http://supportdocs.polycom.com/PolycomService/support/global/documents/support/setup_maintenance/pro...

appears to be a dead link now, I’ll look on the current admin guide for the detailed information
