I have 2 Soundpoint IP 301's and I can hear the other party, weather another extension for external caller, but I can not speak to that extension.  I tried the hardware test and I can not hear my recordings, But it just does not make sense that I have the same issue with both phones.

welcome to the Polycom Community.

  • Have you tested calling each other from these phones or is it only external calls that have one way audio?
  • Have you excluded the handsets being defective by answering a call via the speaker phone?
  • Have you got any other Polycom phones in your network?
  • Have these phones ever worked?
  • Have you tried dialing the IP address of the other phone to exclude Server / Firewall issues?

I have tested each phone using the hardware test on the phone itself to remove the server from the equation and neither handset works. No other polycom phones in my network. and my phones have half-deuplex speakerphones so I can not test that.
