Hello,

We will probably get mostly VVX411 and 501 units.   I'm wondering if there are any manuals or special instructions for connecting BT headsets.   Which models are compatible - if we need a lifting mechanism...

Hello boe,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I already replied => here <= in the unrelated post.

We do support Bluetooth on the VVX600 / VVX 601 series

The VVX401, VVX411, VVX500, VVX501, VVX600 and VVX601 support USB.

You can either use a native USB Headset or try a Bluetooth dongle.

Its impossible to test all of these dongles but an overview of supported and tested headsets is here:

Oct 19, 2011 Question: What type of Headset's and cables are compatible with my Phone?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Hi Boe,

I'd highly recommend you use a DECT headset and not a Bluetooth headset. Reason being: better sound quality and longer wireless range in an office setting. Check out the Discover D901 or D903 wireless headset and if you add the D629 EHS cable, you can answer and end calls from the headset while you're multi tasking in your office.
