Hello,

We have a strange problem regarding a 3rd party calling company (AccuConference) when using our polycom 4000 IP phones.  We have 2 of these in the company, and neither phone allows us to successfully enter in the Conference Code after dialing into our AccuConference number.

We have a Polycom IP 7000 phone that works just fine.  It's just our 4000 models that seem to have this issue.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Dial into our Accuconference number.   Call connects, and the moderator asks for our conference code.

2. We enter enter in our conference code number followed by the # sign which is the last digit of our code

3. The operator says "I'm sorry, but we were unable to connect you using your conference code.  Please enter in your conference Code.

4. (repeat the process)

5. Operator again says the same thing, then disconnects.

Even though we hear the dial beeps for each number we enter, it's as if AccuConference isn't registering the digits at all.  However, when doing the SAME steps with our PolyCom 7000, the system works fine and connects us properly.

We also have several PolyCom 335 and 321 desk phones which all work correctly as well.

Can anyone tell us what the problem might be on our 4000 IP phones?  (Our IP service is handled through a 3rd party company as well, RingCentral.com, although I don't think the problem lies there since the other phones work fine. )

Any ideas or assistance you can provide would be most appreciated.

Ted

Hello,

All I can recommend is looking at the Dtmf payload type. Forum faq is your friend.
