hello:

we use poly x50/G7500 in large conference room with 3rd party control system,we want to use zoom mode and sometimes use device mode, we want to swith the 2 mode with contorl system's touch pannel.i found the 7500's command line api guide and tried, the G7500 will restart after i sent the api. it will take several minutes  to restart.i want to swith the mode just like TC8, without restart,so i can ues the mode setting in my control system to control all the devices in my meeting room simultaneously。otherwise,i will control other devices use control system touch pannel, and switch device mode use TC8,it is not an ideal way to do a intelligent AV meeting room。

is there  a anther way to do it without restarting ? or use rest api will better?

Hello @leon zhang ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

I would suggest looking at the REST API instead of switching Providers

May 19, 2020 Question: Does a Poly G7500 or Studio X50/X30 support REST API?
Resolution: Details on this can be found in the Poly VideoOS REST API Reference Guide >here< (or search the Support Page for the latest) or for instructions check >here<

The best and quickest way forward is to contact our Support organisation as the community is run by volunteers only.

Hello @leon zhang

the URL posted by myself do not have any information about the Poly Phone REST API and only show examples for the Studio X or G7500 REST API.

The examples are tested and are working

All the information is there

If you still have an issue others can comment or work with our support organisation

Best Regards
