Typically two cameras will be used to show different parts of a room.  For example in a class room one camera would be aimed at the instructor and the other aimed at the students. During a lecture the main camera is on the instructor but if a student asks a question the instructor can hit a pre set and the student would then be on camera.

Usually presets are set to switch back and forth between cameras.  The HDX Admin Guide provides details on setting up presets.
