How does one initiate device mode when using a Trio 8500/8800 as a Zoom Rooms controller?

Thanks

Hello @jbass_srcinc ,

Welcome back to the Poly Community.

Today this is not possible and only using either a mouse or a touch screen would have this functionality.

I am not aware of any plans to add this and suggest you work with your Poly account team if you have questions around this.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Well that's not the answer that I was hoping for and considering that they are both Poly products it seems somewhat rather shortsighted on the development side of things.
Is this also the case w/the Trio C60?

Thanks,

James

Hello @jbass_srcinc ,

I can only reply to what is at present technically capable and not what is not.

The C60 is the same in this case and I suggest you work with a Poly sales engineer and or Poly reseller if you require additional details.

The issue w/using a mouse (or touchscreen for that matter) is that it opens up the settings menu which has non password protected features in it. Is there a way to disable or password protect those?

Thanks
