OK. I'm now offricially curious as a former electronics engineer.
A customer is complaining that the VC system is waking up when they enter their meeting rooms wether they want VC or not.
The meeting room has automatic lighting so the lights come on when they walk in but I don't think the HDX remote reacts to light as we have the same setup.
So, it's got to be movement. Even if you don't touch the HDX remote, virations on the table would do that wouldn't it?
So, back to the original question. What is the mechanism within an HDX Remote that detects the VC may be required?

Hello Pete,
there is a motion sensor switch in the remote control.
