Hi,

first of all thanks for this chance to submit a query in this forum.

I've a VSX 7000 that's always On, I mean that it's always connected to the LAN waiting for connections from a MCU. In the last weeks something strange is happening:

  • Daily after a video meeting we leave the microphone in muted state (red light). But sometimes on the following morning the microphone is unmuted. No call has been received according to the logs and nobody has unmuted the micro. Is this normal?
  • Unfrequently in late night the system emits a strange noise (sorry I haven't been present while that happening).

I've looked through the logs, I've checked the power cord, I've restarted the system several times but after a few days the micropohone is unmuted on its own while system is not in a call. Could it be another thing, the microphone cable was replaced a few months ago.

If you could offer me any guidance to check what's wrong I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance
