Unable to factory reset a Group500

Hello,

I have on my hands a Group 500 Rev 10 with the System Software 4.2.0.

I need to factory reset this device but I'm unable to 😞

- I shut the device off

- Wait a few time

- Press the factory reset button with a clip

- Press the power on button

- After a while the device starts blinking orange and blue (the device doesn't do this on a normal boot)

- I let go the factory reset button after a while (10/15 sec)

After this the device boots normally with no change... help 😕

So does the codec go to an Out Of Box condition or does it just boot to the normal home screen?

Did you ever find a solution to this problem?  We have the same thing on a 500.

I have the same problem.

If I use the USB factory reset and upgrade option after 20 minutes the units LEDs flash red.

Anyone got any ideas ?

I had a similar problem last year, but the unit was under a yearly maintenance plan and Polycom replaced it.
