Dear Polycom Community

We have a 1 user Setup here in our office. The User has a large office and beside his Computer with Skype Videoconference capabilities - there is as well a Trio 8800 with VisualPro (and Eagle Eye Producer) connected to a TV in this room. Both Systems - Computer and this Trio is Setup with the user personal account. But the systems are completely seperated (no USB connection or so)

Now, sometimes - mostly when he joins a Videoconference at his Computer - the other Setup turns on screen and Camera. Even if the system is not touched. I assume this has something to do with presence-management of Skype - waking up other clients - right?

The Problem is in this situation - even if the Call is ended then - the system will not turn off anymore. The camera keeps tracking the speaker.

If the call was joined via the Trio system and ended on this device - everything is shutting down perfectly after the configured inactivity timers.

Is there a way to put the system "off" - so you can only wake it up by touching the system?

Or simple turn this "automatic-on" functionality off?

Trio 8800 version: 5.9.0.11398

VisualPro version: 6.2.1.1-570046

Best Regards

Martin

Hi All

I thought someone might be interested in the Solution:

We realized, that this actions were related to the "User Detection Sensitity"

As we assume: Even if you set this setting to 0 - the user Detection still searches for activity in the room.

So to make sure the System turns off, we instructed the User to mute the Trio when not using it. Since then, there was no "magically-turn-on"-action from the device and also shutting down very soon after usage.
