Good morning, we are currently experiencing an issue with out Windows Endpoints Mirror Casting to the Pano device and was wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar issue and has a solution. For any of our windows laptops that try to cast for the first time they are asked for the security code to connect which is fine however any subsequent connections then dont ask for the security code. We have rebooted both the pano and the laptops and cleared the credential Cache on the windows laptop but it still happens. This is not an issue on Macs, iPhones or when using the pano app. Any ideas?

Thanks.

With Miracast this is the expected behavior. The following statement can be found in the Pano release notes: Systems running the Windows operating system only require a security code during the first attempt to connect. To force personal device to prompt for a security code after the initial attempt, a user can remove the Pano device from the list of connected devices (also referred to as “forgetting” a device).

Hello mpiercec,

I have the same issue. By removing the device from Start  > Settings  > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices. Under Wireless displays & docks, select the wireless display or adapter, then select Remove device > Yes, Pano device ask the PIN again for pairing but I dont found any way to automatize this for all our users.

By script I was able to remove the Pano device but seems that pairing info still stored on Windows.

Any idea why? There is a way to deploy something like a GPO to force the users to enter everytime the PIN for association?

Thank you
