Hi there,

Whenever i try to use Remote Monitoring on a RealPresence Group500 unit I find that I am never able to actually see the video in my browser.   The video windows for both near and far side come up as broken links.  I have tried using Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Firefox.

We are on an isolated network that cannot access the internet at large.  Is there an easy fix for this? Do I have to download something along the lines of an Adobe Flash player?

Or is there a setting on the RealPresence that I need to adjust on the unit in order to enable remote video?

I have never had this problem with the HDX and VSX units that I also remote monitor.

Thanks!

You have to allow View Video from the web at the endpoint, from the embedded UI, before you can view video remotely.

It is a security feature that requires it to be turned on at the unit itself.

Hi

We have installed the Real Presence 500. I am using the web interface and cannot see the video feed for remote monitoring. I have read the admin manual which refers to security settings but do not have the remote access option under that, as stated in the manul.See attached. Please advise ASAP as this is a feature we use all the time. Note we never had this issue with our previous unit.
