Yes! its possible to hook up your DVD recorder to the HDX 7000 as long as it has a S-Video interface for Recording Video and RCA for Audio , If not. You can use any converters to be able to integrate the cables.
You can use the recording capabilty by doing the following steps:
1. Insert the S-video Cable at the back panel of the HDX 7000 (the S-Video with the arrow pointing out), then connect the cable to your DVD recorder, then also insert the RCA cable on the RCA port(arrow pointing out)
2. At your HDX 7000 Menu/Interface, select System> Admin Settings> Monitors> Monitors> then select next arrow to move to the next page, Press until you are on the "Monitor 3" page. Then select the aspect ratio for recording. (Default is Off)
3. If your Monitor 1 and Monitor 2 are both active, you will select which monitors are you going to replicate.
Hope this One helps!
cheers,
James
