RealPresence Group 300 - Can't set up calendaring service



Our system is RealPresence Group 300

Software Release -

SN 8214194139BBD5


I'm trying to configure the calendaring service to see if this device can join Skype video conferencing. All I've been getting is 


Invalid domain, user name, or password. Please check your credentials and try again.

Do we need to upgrade the software to the latest version for this to work? We do not have a current support plan and so we dont have a software key to upgrade. 

But will the software update allow this device to do Skype video conference? That's my biggest concern. I do not care about voice, our company can use the physical phone to dial out.

The easiest way is to check the software release notes to verify your version supports the product you try to use.


Also your Polycom reseller can provide advise.

The reseller told me that it will work but the quote is almost $3000 for the license (to download software) + support + Lync feature.


I guess I need like a real demo before I want to pay for the support. Because right now all I get is verbal confirmation.
