Hello,

We recently purchased a pack of 25 RealPresence Desktop licenses. When activating a desktop endpoint, we are given two options: Specify and Import. We would like to have a license file that our users can import instead of having them type in the license number and key code. Is there a way to generate this license file? Thanks in advance!

After some digging, I was able to find some old documentation from Polycom where they mention dowloading the key code file from the license activation page:

https://support.polycom.com/global/documents/support/technical/products/voice/Feature_Licensing_TB32....

On the current license activation page, there is no option to download the key code. Could it be that this feature is no longer available?

Hello @ChristopherK,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The document you found describes this for our phones.

For our Video Products I am quite sure there is also an option to activate such serials in bulk but I am not fully sure the same is applicable for stuff like RPD.

If you have a paper copy you could use Microsoft Word and scan the document in and use OCR

Hi Steffen,

Thanks for your reply! I have already activated the RPD license and obtained the keycode through the support website. I can activate an RPD endpoint by manually typing the license number and activation key code. Besides this, there is another option to import a license key file when activating an RPD endpoint.

I was just wondering if there is a way to generate this license key file (should be a .cfg file) that way I can activate an RPD endpoint by importing the .cfg file rather than manually typing the license number and activation key code.
