I am trying to detect when a user closes RealPresence, so it can be launched again automatically.
So far I am finding that even though the GUI is closed, Powershell and other things are still reporting the RealPresenceDesktop is still up and running.
Is there a setting somewhere that could close out of the RealPresenceDesktop process if the window is closed?
Also if there is a way to launch full screen, that is also being asked for.
Hello @MikeGeb ,
Welcome to the Poly Community.
I assume in this case the user actually does not "close" the App. If it is just closed via the X in the corner it will run minimized in the taskbar. Only if a user clicks the top left and then selects Exit it will shut down.
I checked internally and I do not believe we have an option to start as full screen. I suggest you work with a Poly reseller so you can open an enhancement request.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards

----------------Thank you that does help, but unfortunately does not bring me closer to what I need.
Because we are giving laptops with the software installed to patients using it without employee supervision, we need to lock them down.
We are replacing the windows shell with the application, which works great from a security standpoint (no taskbar, start button, file explorer etc) However with this, if you minimize it, there is no way to undo that (no visible system tray). That is the issue I'm trying to solve.
With an older version I found that you can put in a registry key that will close the app out when it is minimized, but that isn't working with current versions.
