On a hp laptop system Polycom telepresence M100 automatically sets mic level to 29% every time i start the program.
If I set it to 100% (while program running) remote side hears me ok. If i close and restart the Telepresence application, the recording mic volume goes again to 29%. Tryed with user permissions and with administrator permissions. No change.
Next time i start the application, the volume goes down to 29% and the remote side barely hears me.
My system:
HP ProBook 6560b
Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Edition 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601
Polycom Telepresence M100 (m100-2012-12-19_r29417_4151-setup.exe)
Polycom communicator C100 USB
Logitech Pro C920 camera

I tried several sources (on board mic, Camera mic, Communicator mic - preffered), everything the same.

Does anybody have any idea what to do?

Will Admin please move the threat to topic Teleprecence? I deleted the thread and opened new in Telepresence, but somehow it automatically goes to "Video endpoints".

I am fully aware where this post should be located.

 

The Video Endpoints Community section covers the following as stated:

 

For support questions on Polycom Group Series, HDX, VSX, m100 and all other standalone video endpoints.

 

The Telespresence sections covers:

 

For support questions on Polycom RPX, TPX, OTX and ATX immersive Telepresence rooms.

 

The m100 is not a Telepresence product and the post(s) where therefore moved to the correct section.
