Polycom RPG 500 crashes during multipoint conference

Polycom RPG 500 crashes during multipoint conference

Point to point audio/video conference is working fine. But when I want to add 3rd attendant, Polycom RPG 500 freezes and reboot itself.

We have license for 6 attendants, so it should be working.



Any ideas?

This can be anything from heating, memory issue, or corrupt software. If you have coverage on the Group 500 I would call into tech support and have them get a case created for this issue.

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used software version as issue experienced may already be addressed in a newer release. This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

These are the required informations:


Model: RealPresence Group 500

Hardware Version: 10

System Software: Release - 4.1.3-111080

Audio Device 1


Software Version:1.88


It should be the newest version.



I don't think it is problem of the hardware... I'm guessing it is problem with MS Lync directory server, because it cannot reach it over the network.
