Hello,
I'm a newone, who starts using Polycom RP Group 310.
I have RP 310 latest siftware update - 5.1.2
SfB license
SfB2015 server with latest CU3 + full functionality installed (internal/external chat/calls/mobility).
I wonder to use RP310 as a part of SfB2015 environment. Network, domain, calendar and SIP settings are fine. Status of the system is pretty green.
When I called to friend's of mine SfB client (2016 version) we had nice A/V chat. Call is going to both side.
The problem is when I try to call to my internal clients. No matter what version of client or the direction of call - the call immediately ends.
I'm not a pro in UC, what can I do to solve the issue? What is to check/to test?
Kindly regards,
Nikita

Hello Nikita,
again for Russia there is no SRTP aka encryption support so there would be no menu to operate.
For LYNC / Skype please check as outlined => here <=
This must be set to:
Set-CsMediaConfiguration site:Redmond1 -EncryptionLevel donotsupportencryption
It is illegal in Russia to use SRTP encryption.
IF you still have issues please open a support ticket.
In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you. In case this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post your MAC address or serial number starting with 8 so I can look up who would be able to support you.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

----------------Hi Steffen,
thanks for the quick responce. Yes, I'm from Russia and I hate sanctions.
So, I try to find via web interface the encryption tab, but no result.
Admin settings -> Security -> Global settings -> and here I only see Security Profile / Authentication / Access / Visual Security class...
How to set the encryption?
Regards,
Nikita
One more thing,
can RPG 310 be a part of SfB2015 multipoint conferencing?
thanks.

Hello Nikita,
this is a LYNC / Skype for Business setting as for example discussed => here <=
I assume your second questions is about an AVMCU call and yes it can.

----------------Steffen, hi.
Still stuck with Encryption section in web interface.
Admin settings -> Security -> Global settings -> no encryption here.
Another interesting thing with RPG 310: I downloaded the logs and made quick look.
Two settings:
comm.Callsetting.callFeatures.Multipoint.mpenabled="False"
comm.Callsetting.callFeatures.encryptionenable="Off"
What this can be? How can I operate these settings?
Regards,
Nikita

I will try the options.

Hello Steffen,
I set EncryptionLevel to SupportEncryption on SfB 2015 and this was enough.
Now RPG 310 works absolutely well ans as planned.
Thank you for the support! It really helps!

Nikita
