Am I able to just use this as a video/audio device for a desktop.  We have many online meeting platforms and would be easier to just drive from the desktop.

Yes. You can connect a desktop or laptop via USB C cable and use the X50 Camera/ Speakers for any meeting platform from the PC

Correct,

you can set the Studio X to "Device Mode" as the provider option. This will make it act like a USB Cam / MIC / Speaker only.

Translation option can be found to the top right, when surfing from your PC or Desktop.
